TrialKit is based on the award-winning Clinical Studio eClinical platform which was designed and developed by Crucial Life Sciences Data Solutions, Inc. (CLSDS) headquartered in Reno/Tahoe, Nevada. CLSDS was founded in 2010 by a team of industry-leading professionals who dedicated more than four years to develop Clinical Studio (and now TrialKit) to deliver technology tools that radically cut the cost of research. By lowering the cost of research for scientific, medical, and academic communities, the high prices associated with healthcare can be reduced, ensuring more people benefit from new and improved medical discoveries.

MEET THE TEAM
Founder and CEO
Paul Grady is the founder and CEO of Crucial Life Sciences Data Solutions, Inc. based out of the Reno – Tahoe area. Since obtaining his B.A. in Computer Information Systems from Idaho State University, Paul has founded or co-founded five successful companies in the health sciences industry. His experience as an entrepreneur and three decades of work in medical research has provided him with invaluable insights and a unique perspective on the challenges and issues present in the clinical trial space. Paul’s vast knowledge as a web developer and database architect, coupled with his passion for technology, has inspired him to apply his expertise to create and implement innovative solutions to bring disruptive change to the clinical trial landscape.
Melchizedek Mauleon has 20 years of experience in programming and system/network administration, 12 of those years being within the medical research industry. Before coming to CLSDS, he worked in software programming, system integration, and system, database, and network administration; he brings with him a wealth of expertise and IT knowledge. Melchizedek manages all IT-related matters, ensuring optimal function of the software and striving to make TrialKit the most technologically advanced platform on the market. He received his B.S. in Computer Science from PCU in the Philippines.
VP Sales and Marketing
Andrew Sizelove has invented, developed, commercialized, marketed, and sold technical solutions ranging from orthopedic medical devices to clinical research SaaS solutions. He has tremendous experience as a liaison between inventors, medical professionals, and industry from working for entities as small as early-stage startups to large multinational corporations. Andrew has been in collaborative customer-facing roles his entire career and brings not only business development and strategic expertise, but also a deep technical background with a degree from Chico State in Mechatronic Engineering, a combination of Mechanical, Electrical, and Computer Engineering.
VP Product Management
As a prior research study coordinator with his Bachelor of Applied Science from Creighton University, Cody Wilke brings foundational knowledge of what clinical sites need to make data collection less painful. Cody has dedicated interest in technology, software, and how it translates to the user needs and experience. He is an integral part of CLSDS’ day-to-day operations, managing the development and customer success for the TrialKit platform. In his free time, Cody can sometimes be caught running software test scripts.
Director of Operations
Laura Moebus has a strong background in operations and administrative capacities and has been an essential part of the CLSDS team for over five years. She can be found at the helm of the company’s operations, in direct control of human resources, financial management, long term organizational planning, and more. Laura’s dependability and thoroughness keep CLSDS and its staff working efficiently every day. She attended Augsburg University in Minneapolis, Minnesota and earned her Bachelor of Arts.
Director of Client and Mobile Services
Paul Fadden has over 20 years of experience in pharmaceutical and medical device research and development, helping companies conduct their clinical trials and achieve organizational goals. Paul has broad experience in customer support having assembled a number of client services departments from the ground up. He brings this valuable ability to the team at CLSDS. Today, he leads the Client and Mobile Services Team, supporting over 1,000 CLSDS clients worldwide and delivering quality services, technology, and support. Paul received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Minnesota.
Director of Marketing
Carley Allison graduated from Saint Mary’s College of California with her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology. After receiving her degrees, she returned to the Reno – Tahoe area to pursue her career in business. Her eye for detail and big-picture perspective drove her to a role in marketing. Carley oversees all CLSDS marketing initiatives, including everything from content creation and social media management to branding and advertising.
